Your receipt details

Start with your actual company and project details. USD only. Nothing is sent automatically.

Itemize the invoice

Use the same items as the agreed invoice. Mark only items taxable under your applicable rules.

Review your own tax treatment and recordkeeping requirements. This tool applies your settings; it does not decide them.

Your receipt preview

Fill in the details, then choose Create my receipt.

Choose “Save as PDF” in your print dialog. Turn off browser headers and footers for a clean document.

A payment is not always the final payment.

A receipt should answer four questions: who paid, what invoice the payment belongs to, how much was actually received and what balance remains. A deposit receipt can show an open balance without calling the whole job paid.

Keep previous payments separate.

For a fictional $2,400 invoice with a $600 deposit already received, a new $900 payment leaves $900 due. Enter $600 under previous payments and $900 under this payment. Do not include the $900 twice.

Use a useful reference.

A check number or payment-provider confirmation helps match the receipt to your records. Do not put full card numbers, banking credentials or sensitive customer data on the receipt.

When is a job “paid in full”?

This tool uses that label only when the invoice balance reaches zero. Verify your payment records first; generating the document does not verify that a payment settled.

Need the original bill? Use the FREE landscaping invoice generator. Save the editable working copy locally so you can revise it later.
