Understand the conversion

Cubic feet = square feet × depth in inches ÷ 12. Cubic yards = cubic feet ÷ 27. The allowance is added to the measured volume. Whole bags = adjusted cubic feet ÷ labeled bag volume, rounded up. The yard figure is displayed to two decimals; the bag count uses the unrounded volume.

For 216 ft² at 2 inches: 36 ft³ before allowance, 39.6 ft³ with 10% added, or about 1.47 yd³ and 20 bags of 2 ft³. Confirm the supplier’s order increments, product yield and delivery access before ordering.
