YOUR VISIT PRICE COMPARISON
Review the assumptions and calculate to compare weekly and biweekly planning prices.
Production time is mowing plus trimming, edging and cleanup. Labor includes the whole crew during production and travel. Equipment allowance accrues during production; disposal is added separately. Direct cost is divided by one minus the overhead share, then divided by one minus the target margin to calculate price.
At a 25% target margin, modeled cost represents 75% of selling price. Adding 25% to cost produces a different margin. The biweekly multiplier affects production time; travel and disposal stay separate.
Use the labor and equipment basis appropriate to your operation. Review wages, employer costs, fuel, maintenance, replacement, insurance, admin and downtime. Do not count an expense in both the direct allowance and overhead. Owner time still consumes capacity.
Assess actual property work, access, conditions, equipment and route fit. The estimate is not a guaranteed quote, local market rate, tax calculation or turf-care prescription. Weekly and biweekly suitability depend on the actual property and service.
